Situated within a top tier research institution here at the University of Virginia, the Curry School is leading the way in finding evidence-based solutions for complex educational issues of national concern. The Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning focuses on effective teacher practice, while other well-known Curry programs are conducting research in special education, gifted child education, early childhood literacy, learning in the content areas, school leadership, postsecondary education, and more.
