Research and Program Support

To position ourselves at the forefront of educational research and innovation, we must have funds to support our faculty research and programs. The work of discovery requires seed money and venture capital to explore novel ideas and create innovation. Support is needed for pilot studies, research training workshops, management and clerical staff, technology support, equipment and teaching materials, curriculum development, and teacher advisor stipends.

Curry School faculty have proposed a number of individual initiatives for enhancing the school’s impact on education requiring a wide range of support levels. More information is available upon request.

Example Needs:

Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning

$1,500,000

Center on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education $1,500,000
Center for Educational Policy

$1,500,000

Center for Education Leadership $1,500,000
Center on Health and Well-Being $1,500,000

Any of these centers may be established with an endowment gift of $5 million in the donor’s own name or in the name of another whom they wish to honor.
