Curry Lectureship Series and Annual SymposiaThe Curry School must initiate new opportunities to foster intellectual and scholarly discourse among faculty, students, and educational practitioners. We need endowed lectureships for a visiting scholars program that will bring in prominent speakers on topics such as preparing teachers for diverse student populations, conducting high quality research, and incorporating methodological advances. Your gifts will also enable us to increase our influence at the national level through an annual Curry School symposium on effective teaching research. Lectureship SeriesThe Curry School Education Research Lectureship Series will provide a forum for presenting recent, high-quality research evidence, theoretical perspectives, and methodological advances on a variety of topics related to education. This series will offer a setting in which intellectual and scholarly discourse is fostered among faculty, students, and educational practitioners. Effective Teaching Research SymposiaAn annual symposium sponsored by the Curry School on the most innovative and evidence-driven approaches to education will bring leaders in practice and policy to the University and will establish Curry as the national leader in this field. Do Some Good!Your investment in either the Curry School Education Research Lectureship Series or the Effective Teaching Research Symposia will increase the level of scholarly discourse and rigorous research being conducted at the Curry School and will ultimately enhance Curry’s standing in the national rankings.
