Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy

The Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy was created in April of 2007 through the generosity of U.Va. alumnus Frank Batten, Sr. The Batten School will educate men and women to provide effective, enlightened, and ethical leadership in the public sphere and to bring about transformational change in the management and solution of societal problems.

Campaign Priorities and Goals - $150 Million

  • Create and Name the School – $100 million (gift from Frank Batten, Sr.)
  • Endowed Professorships – $20 million
  • Student Aid - $10 million
  • Program on Leadership in the Public Sphere - $10 million
